Adam and Kim both attended Esperanza High School, but their paths didn’t cross until college. Fate intervened when they met in line at Chipotle in Anaheim Hills, sparking a connection that led to a beautiful love story. Married for 12 years, the couple celebrated their wedding at Black Gold Golf Course, one of Yorba Linda’s most picturesque venues. While they have achieved great success in their careers and celebrated many milestones in their business, their greatest accomplishment by far has been the joy of welcoming their three children—Carter (9), Bella (8), and Kennedy (6 months).
HOME SWEET HOME
The Prestons have lived in Yorba Linda their entire lives. They grew up near East Lake Village and, as adults, moved into their forever home on the North side of Ohio Street, in the charming old-town horse property neighborhood. The unique character of their community, with its custom homes and equestrian-friendly environment, makes it the perfect place to raise their children.
One of their favorite traditions is gathering for nightly family dinners, where Kim, an avid cook, prepares homemade meals as the family shares stories about their day. It’s a small yet powerful tradition that keeps their bond strong.
The Preston family loves to host and frequently welcomes friends and loved ones into their home. Whether outdoors, socializing, swimming, biking, having bonfires, or enjoying their game room, their home is always filled with energy and laughter. As they navigate daily life and raise their family, they emphasize core values such as honesty, respect, integrity, loyalty, and kindness. They are committed to fostering strong moral character and cultivating a deep sense of community within their family.

The Prestons love taking their golf cart around Yorba Linda Town Center and the surrounding neighborhoods, admiring the horses and custom-built homes that make the area so special. Adam and Kim are both highly involved in their children’s activities. Kim coaches Bella’s soccer team, while Adam dedicates his time to coaching Carter in a variety of sports, including soccer, hockey, basketball, baseball, and flag football. Their dedication to their children’s growth in sports and education reflects their belief in fostering a well-rounded upbringing.

Adam and Kim are proud to be true Yorba Lindians, with deep generational ties to the community. Their parents still reside in the homes where they grew up, just minutes from each other. It’s a rare and special bond that connects beyond their deep roots in Yorba Linda. The Prestons love to travel, creating cherished memories through family vacations. Their favorite destinations include Palm Springs, The River, Big Bear, and various camping spots in their family RV. They also share a passion for hockey, attending Anaheim Ducks games regularly as dedicated season ticket holders for over a decade.

Through their businesses and personal efforts, they are involved in various local charities, support the Yorba Linda Chamber Commerce, sponsor CHOC Children’s Hospital, and contribute to other meaningful foundations.
